Just wanted to say how great the Saxholder is, my back was ready to break, but now I can play my tenor with ease!

I would like to compliment you on the JazzLab „Sax Holder“. I am a professional musician, recording artist, educator and businessman based in Kansas City USA.
The Sax Holder is lightweight, comfortable and ergonomic to the process of playing the saxophone. I was most impressed with the seeming weightlessness of the instrument, since there is no longer any requirement to support it placed on my neck. I find the Sax Holder also keeps the instrument in the same place, which results in my mouthpiece not moving away from my mouth as I play. This is great for keeping the proper embouchure while playing throughout the entire range of the saxophone. I have retired my other neckstrap! Christopher L. Burnett

After recently suffering neck and back pain using conventional sax strap, the Saxholder is a revelation! (I play tenor) After initial set up, which took a few minutes, I hooked on the sax and was amazed how light it felt. Didn’t slip off the shoulders or the abdomen, played for a couple of hours at home and was absolutely chuffed. No pain, no stiffness. I found that standing with hips pushed forward slightly was the ideal posture. Every saxophonist should try it. Delivery was super fast! Excellent service, best price I could find! Many thanks…

I’ve just received my saxholders, ordered for myself and a student. I have to say after 26 years playing the saxophone this is the first time in a very long time I have been pain free whilst playing my instrument, which is a huge bonus. So thank you for an excellent product.

An excellent product, which I have no doubt will save my back and neck over the forthcoming years! Ever since taking up the tenor saxophone, I’ve suffered with neck pain and back aches. The SaXholder has just transformed my playing immediately! Whereas before I could only play an hour maximum, together with my heavy sax whispermute I can now play as long as I want without any pain. Highly recommended product at an excellent price, from a great retailer!

This is great, I wish I had discovered this before I was getting a pain in the neck and then I wouldn’t have got one. I took my time to adjust it correctly, felt a little strange at first, most of my playing is sitting down. Several slight adjustments later, no pain in my neck, breathing easier, no restriction on my neck, my tenor sax felt light and just great. Highly recommend this piece of kit.

I have intended to use this with my heavy baritone, but it is so good in practice – really frees your breathing and neck muscles, it is quick to put on, simple to store. I shall use it on all occasions, with alto and baritone.

Having “road tested” the Saxholder for a couple of weeks now confirms my view that your device is a wonderful invention. I am a 78 year old geriatric without much musical experience and find the tenor quite heavy. With any of the traditional slings or harnesses, it is never in the right place, but with Saxholder it is virtually weightless and can be positioned almost in the same convenient position as the alto. All I need now is to learn to play it properly – which from here on should be rather easier.

Your instrument support for oboe & English horn is taking all of the weight and stress off my right thumb. Awesome!

I purchased one of these weird contraptions from Eric Falcon a few months ago while attending a sax masterclass in Houston. Most of my gigs these days are 4hour gigs where Im standing. The traditional neck strap would wear me out by the end of the gig but this contraption distributes the load of the tenor from the neck to the shoulders and chest. I love it. I also switch to alto and I just have to adjust the string for the alto and it works fine. I highly suggest that you consider this neck strap!

I’ve been using the Saxholder for a few months now. When I first put it on, I was laughing uncontrollably because it felt so free. I still feel similar things when using it. I love it.

As a professional Yoga instructor, I would be aware of one thing when using this system. Make sure that you have the hooks adjusted to that your shoulder blades aren’t being pulled away from you back. On a related note, the top of the humerus should not be pushed forward. Lots of neck and shoulder pain are caused by just those two misalignments alone.

I love this invention. I went back to my regular neckstrap a month ago and sure enough started having shoulder pain, finger numbness, tingling……………went back to the Saxholder and I’ve been fine for the last 2-3 weeks now

Received my Saxholder today and have been playing with it all evening. Exceeds my high expectations. So nice to have the weight not looped around my neck but evenly distributed on the top/back of my shoulders. I find it also makes it easier to „float“ the mouthpiece in the proper embrochure alignment in a way that removes nearly all pressure on my bottom lip from my teeth.

I love it and I doubt I’ll ever use a traditional neck strap again. What a wonderful invention.

I’m really impressed but the SaxHolder, it does make the tenor seem remarkably lighter.

I received the saXholder size XL. I love it, it is the perfect size for a big, large man like me. You are such a creative innovator to design and make this. My neck thanks you and honestly I think I can play the horn in a better position and hold it better with the saXholder than a traditional neckstrap.

Thank you so much. The Saxholder arrived and it is amazing. It feels like the sax is floating in the air. If you play for a long time it is a great help, not only for children but also for adults.

I having been using the saxholder for a week now and I just wanted to say what a great tool it is.
I have played saxophone for over thirty years and more recently have suffered from bad neck and arm problems.
The sax harness setups are too restrictive but this system works great.

I have had a huge amount of pain in recent years with holding the bass clarinet and until now I have been unable to find a neck strap that a/ fits comfortably and b/ looks correct on the female body!
All other straps create tension in various places … either neck shoulders, back, hands, wrist, fingers.

So I tried the Jazzlab and WOW! I performed my first solo recital on it last month and it is the first recital in a long time that I have had no discomfort at all.

I received the Saxholder yesterday and it is amazing. I’m so happy with it…suddenly the saxophone is so lightweight !

I have a very serious heart condition which for the past several years has restricted my playing to sitting in a chair, due to the stress on my neck muscles restricting even blood flow across my chest and back. I ordered a saXholder …. in early February. By mid March I was able to resume standing play and can stand playing up to 2 hours. The various adjustments allow the distribution on any of a number of shoulder and back muscle groups, completely freeing the neck. Pat, my wife, uses a BG yoke strap but tires standing after a half hour or so. I adjusted my saXholder for her to try out last Sunday and after 1 day she had me order one for her.

Got the sax holder. It’s great, really frees up my horn and makes playing easier. Also promotes better posture. Thanks.

Saxholder took all the pressure off my neck and I am surprised at the number of aches and pains that I no longer have.
_____________________________________________________________________
How do I spell neck relief …… saXholder. I have had mine for several hours now and I am amazed at the feeling of weightlessness and no neck problems after a few hours.

NEXT DAY: Yep after a day of mostly practice no fatigue, no PITNeck. A little bending dealt with the contact points. I’m loving it.

I can recommend the Saxholder without any concerns. Since using it all of my cervical problems are gone.
_____________________________________________________________________
I think Saxholder is pure genius and I use it every time 🙂
_____________________________________________________________________
By now I got a Saxholder myself and I like it a lot – I would not have expected that. It takes much strain from your cervical spine.
_____________________________________________________________________
Saxholder is one of the best harnesses with my pupils. They swear by it and all I can say is, you can hear the advanced posture.
_____________________________________________________________________
The Saxholder is a serious alternative to all recent harness systems available on the market. It is easy to handle and this alone seperates it from other systems. The weight of the sax is dispensed perfectly and it is almost impossible to sense. As with conventional harnesses the instrument stays versatile without limitations. With its many settings it is suitable for all ages.
_____________________________________________________________________
Because of cervical/neck issues related to my lifelong passion for the saxophone, I was forced to design my own harness many years ago. I found all of the commercially available harness designs were unnatural and restrictive. Many players share a myriad of sax related spinal and neck issues. Finally, I can say this amazing engineered saXholder device works better than any harness I have tried.

Saxholder is super! The weight rests on your shoulders, the instrument itself pends freely in front like with a conventional neck harness and putting it on is easy in contrast to a harness. It is absolutely commended.

With saXholder the horn feels like it’s floating, very comfortable, natural and easy to use.
_____________________________________________________________________
I really was impressed with the way the saXholder helped me with my wrist. I felt that I was able to play better while using that strap as well. It is superb!!!!!

As promised, here is my feedback to Saxholder. Well, there isn’t really much to say about this, because in several forums and on your website other Saxholder-users already told so. It is great and a real relive to the neck! I’m totally excited!
_____________________________________________________________________

It’s a marvellous device, I can play the bass saxophone with that for almost an hour. With a conventional strap I can barely manage 10 minutes at a time. That’s proof enough for me.

Just wanted to give you some feedback. I’ve been using Saxholder for some month now and I’m really happy to have it, really a great thing!!
_____________________________________________________________________
Just wanted to tell you that I am very satisfied with the saxholder. It is a brilliant product and now I do not ever have to suffer from that „strangling effect“ around my neck when playing.
_____________________________________________________________________
Completely in black. Very good quality.
I’m excited!
It does not slip, because the shoulder straps are tighly but not uncomfortably attached to your neck and rest conveniently between your shoulder blades. The plastic-sheated hook looks very secure, too. I almost cannot feel the pressure on my stomach coming from the harness.
Most of all I have the impression to be able to play, think and breathe more freely. I can’t even feel that I’m wearing a sax harness (neither neck nor pectoral)!
My result: VERY GOOD!

Honestly, I could not believe that Saxholder is that small, lightweight and handy.

Howdy dear Silvin, Saxholder arrived this week! (…..) First I bent and set it my way, and then all hell was set loose. Really: This sax holder is pure fun! My sax suddenly is quite lightweight, nothing slips here and there, and my neck doesn’t hurt anywhere! Well, that even rhymes, which is a good thing. All in all: I’m thrilled, and I can only compliment you on this big thing!
_____________________________________________________________________
I’m very thilled. As you said it works perfectly with my tenor. I also have the feeling it suppresses my tendency to push high tones. In any case, it is super comfortable.

_____________________________________________________________________
Looks great…. I would imagine that it is good for alto to tenor. How about Baritone?

ANSWER: saXholder works with tenor sax and alto sax. With longer cord it works with bass clarinet and fagot, too. Some players use it with bari sax and say it is great. Some bari sax players says that instrument is to heavy. Please test saXholder with bari sax in your music shop.

Cool!! Can I buy the Avatar girl with it, in skin color?
_____________________________________________________________________
Hey Silvin, no offense, but on the Avatar image I like Saxholder even more than on you.
_____________________________________________________________________
AVATAR: now all men will be snapped up
_____________________________________________________________________

This looks very good– do you have prices yet? I’ll use it at a band practice and let the other players try it out.
_____________________________________________________________________

Looks pretty nice. I may take up the sax to try it.
